一年終了，感謝南亞觀察的所有讀者陪伴我們度過精彩的一年，我們也一直努力的實踐讓更多人認識、理解南亞的願景。在這個資訊沒有國界的全球化年代，世界的各個角落看似越來越近，卻也碰撞出更多新的議題以及思考。編輯部選擇了一篇發人省思的作品作為2015年的結尾，祝福各位新年快樂，平安順心，2016年的南亞觀察也會繼續扮演立足台灣，放眼南界的眺望者。
At times,
Yesterdays exist no more
my mind is functional beyond any doubt
why then I struggle to recall yesterdays
those wonderful, precious yesterdays?
At times,
Today exists no more
why do I watch what is around
and as far as the sight can fly
when nothing relates to my body and soul?
At times,
the “being” exists no more
though my senses capture time and tide
there is always betrayal of my feelings
for the narration the senses deny.
At times,
senses exist no more
we preach peace is death, destruction
hunger, famine is boosting economies
alas! the society is nothing but the media!
At times,
mirage is fact: people exist no more
of the people, by the people, for the people is the state
why then the system fuels power
for one to wipe out millions?
At times,
Nothing exists but hope
the mind is creative, independent
never drowns in darkness, disappears in fog
it survives today, brings tomorrow.
全球化是一個被視為理所當然的名詞，
世界秩序的改變為弱勢群體和窮人帶來希望，
資訊科技的進步造就了網路，不僅消弭世界的文化與政治疆界，
諾貝爾和平獎頒給政治領袖，
在全球化引發的混亂和衝突不斷升高的大環境當中，
這是我們的希望，邪惡力量不會戰勝人類良知，
